Is this all from one company?

"Restroration" is a huge undertaking, but I'm sure your '93 is not in need of a total overhaul. Sounds like you want to "fix" certain worn 'things.' Is stock your goal- or do plan to improve on OE parts?

I prefer to shop the local area for the BEST in each area I'm working on. Paint, leather, carpet, engine, transmission and wheels are all in seperate catagories (and CV tops). I know a great paint shop, but I would not let him touch my leather, but he tells me who he thinks is best in town for cow hide. Some places offer a complete overhaul, but normally sub-out to expert areas... which means you pay more and all at once.

What do you want to 'restore,' and in what order; is the car a daily driver or can you live without? Exterior or interior 1st- or both?

2K will only get you a B+/A- paint job alone (using Macco as an F scale); recommend $40 in very good polishes and waxes... lots of sweat and some time; then see if she really needs paint. I say the samething over and over- 'she needs paint,' but after an all day cleaner/polish/wax session- I save myself $2K and get compliments the next day at work (even though I secretly know every ding, scratch and chip).

Throw some covers on the seats- tell your friends they were just restored to new and you want to save them from the sun; put the $$ in other places/goodies.

Hope this helps!

Steve
