and it still does not work, the next check is to determine that the relay gets 12V at pin 85 (i think) and the LH has to pull down 86 to ground (opposite pin of the relay coil). If this does not happen, the LH is at fault. The jumper from 30 to 87B which causes the car to run indicates the LH OR the relay. The next test is to determine that the relay coil gets the proper signal. I just went through this. I am loathe to repalce enything that I do not KNOW is bad and this is definitely BAD on this particular car. New relay, wiring checks out, new pump. The only way it runs is to put in the jumper or ground pin 86 of the fuel pump relay (cut wire to LH and connect it to ground) This way, the fuel pump runs whenever the car is in 'run'. In this post, I MAY have messed up which pin it is (no bentley on hand) 85 and 86, but the wire I am grounding is the one which does not get 12V on it and runs to a pin on the LH ECU.
