When I went 4 weeks ago to buy the I had to put a brake pad in to get the car home(grinding brake on highway not good) I noticed some rust on the side like you mention. Sunday I had the tire off to get my rotors turned and I started poking at it. The hole just got bigger the more I poked. I believe it looked more serious structurally in the pictures then what it was. The car was tight and handled well. I just figured since I have four cars and the equipment to do the job, I might as well take care of it before it got worse or neglect it and it might fail and cause irrepairable damage. I like the ride of this one and don't want to have to find another one. I looked along time for a 3dr. From start to finish the job probably took at least 15 hours, but now I know it'll last me a long time.
