from outside. As I recall, there are two easy ones near the front of the ebrake lever and two more behind the ebrake bracket, near the rear ashtray.
Easiest to remove both front seats, console, center (gearshift) console, and front interior carpet. (Clean the carpet good while it's out, fix any body pan leaks or bad jute) Check the wiring...it's probably good but it may be scorched/slightly melted (after all, that's one reason why you replace the heat shield!) and now is the time to repair.
The front bolt goes in from the outside into a nut that is often poorly spot welded onto the body pan...be prepared to have someone hold the nut with a wrench inside the car when/if it twists off or replace the nut with a nut/washer (use some sealant around the washer...less leaks.).
