Did the same job on my 87T recently. Search previous posts for this, as I did, many have written mini-novels on how to. I finally settled on the bicycle innertube method. Disassembled the cap & switch above the reservoir, then cut out the valve portion of a bike tube to exactly fit the ID of the cap. Filled reservoir up, screwed cap down with valve poking up. Then, carefully using a bike hand pump, began to put pressure above the reservoir. Didn't take much, the bike tube will swell up (you may want to cut a washer with small center hole to keep the tube flat). The final trick to bleed it was to have an assistant hold the clutch to the floor (I used a trekking pole & the seat) then crack open the bleeder at the clutch.
Worked like a champ! Watch you don't overbleed the reservoir or you will reintroduce air.
Others have time honored methods including MI-T-VAC, gravity via funnel, but the tube worked for me (it is 1 for 1).
