This is for an 88 spg. The line that goes from the clutch master to the slave got punctured thanks to me. Replaced w\new one-no leaks anywhere. I have a "motive Products power bleeder" This thing works great on brakes! Screw it onto master cynlinder, pump it up and open nipple. Filled powere bleeder with lots of fluid; also filled master cylinder with fluid. Pressurized to 8lbs-is this to little? Opened bleeder at slave and fluid came out-slow. Closed bleeder, released pressure from motive bleeder. Then i pumped the clutch. Did this about 7 times. Each time air would come out of nipple, then nothing but fluid would come out-that is when i would close nipple, release pressure in motive and pump clutch. Finally gave up. Seemed like this would go on for ever. Started car and drove off. The car goes into all gears fine. Here is the prob. that was not there before. When i'm at a stop light and have my foot on clutch or brake, i can feel a vibration-almost like pulsating. When i start out in first, the car vibrates when letting the clutch out. This is not apparent when the car is moving-going through gears.
Anone know what I should do? Is there still air in system?
Sorry for the long post but, this shouldn't be that hard. Are these systems just hard to bleed? ie-takes a lot of time and fluid.
Thanks
