I shouldn't be buying another car,but can't help myself. 91s w/117k, no rust, new head gasket, converted AC, perfect leather, everything works, drives tight and smooth, 5sp.shifts flawlessly, new muffler and pipe that precedes it, and records from last 5 years. The problems , some dimples from hail ( here in the rust belt I'll take it over rust) exhaust pipe off manifold has leak,headliner starting to go, scratched window from clips and the check engine light(one year now) is on. The owner took it to the dealer and they fixed the ground on the AMM, problem returned dealer said it had to do with the oxegen sensor and quoted $700 to fix. I couldn't detect any problems at all. He is asking $2950 but I think he would go at least $2500. He has put $ into the car and I'm sure he wants to recoup all he can.
I know I should get it checked out and maybe I'll try on Monday if the car is still around. Thanks, Bruce
