Hey all... I posted a couple of days ago about a 900turbo experience I had a couple days ago.,.. responses were great, and it turned out to be a blown IC hose.
I reattached... and the car still wouldn't catch or idle. Had it towed to a garage... got a call back, thye couldn't find anything wrong, aside from, "the turbo is putting out 21 psi and it sure doesnt feel like it." But car would start and all was good for them.
Upon getting the car back today, I noticed that at idle all is fine... as soon as accel drops... vacuum kicks down to about 25, 26 inches of hg! It usually never goes beyond 19. What would cause MORE vacuum?
Turbo boost is very poor, even though its still grabbing similar numbers!?!
What else should I look at? or is this just the turbo about to die?
thanks,
martin
