Check your alt. ground wire

My weekend project was new injectors (a b#%& to get out - until I realized to use pb blaster - and one plastic tip was broken off, but that's another story and worry) and belts among other cosmetic stuff. After finishing and running the car to look for fuel rail leaks i noticed a big spark glow at the alternator. After freaking out, turning off the car (yes, one banjo fitting was leaking) I saw that the alt. ground wire had been arcing. It turns out the bolt it is attached to had come loose from the vibrations of the alternator. I put a new ground strap on and cranked the bolt down. Only hitch was that the bolt hits the alt before you can get it out - even with the tensioner bracket totally undone. The batt powered dremel worked great for zipping the old wire connector off though. Well, I've never had a ground come loose and just felt like writing something.
