I received today a do-it-yourself pressure brake bleeder as advertised in "European Car" and the thing works really well. I went ahead and "pressure bled" the clutch slave cylinder after doing the brakes. I initially was amazed by the dirty fluid in the brake lines, however the bleeding of the clutch produced 1/2 of a pepsi bottle full of black fluid. Now the whole system has fresh clean fluid and save myself considerable money (shop down the road wanted $50 to pressure bleed my Jetta). Tomorrow I will drive to see what damage I have done (test drove it already and the braking is incredible considering how it was before). I like this pressure bleeder because it is a clean operation especially for one person bleeding the brakes.
