My brother has a 1988 SPG - he bought 16" (Super?) Aero rims from a '91 or '92 9000 Turbo. I think the tires are 60 or 65 profile (maybe 205s?) - so, naturally, they rub.
My question is this: can I put them on my '93 900 Turbo (i.e. w/o lowered springs or large wheel arches) with a lower profile tire and not have them rub? What size tire with a lower profile is close to the stock size? I don't want the low-rider look!!!!! Thanks - I'm sure someone's fitted these wheels on a 900 without severe rubbing.
