Two days ago while coming off of an entrance ramp onto the highway, my clutch suddenly started slipping slightly (have never had problems in the past). The clutch pedal is hard, with no free play (there is free play before warming up, but not as much as there previously was). The friction point has also moved "out" (farther from the floor). It was a pretty sudden change, so I'm wondering what could possibly be out of alignment/adjustment (or what broke!). There is no grinding or difficulty getting the car in or out of gear. I've driven the car about 150 miles since with no real problems, but it continues to slip under 3/4 - full boost in upper gears. Has anyone encountered this before? Most archive posts seem to deal with disengagement problems, not an engagement problem like mine. Thanks in advance for your help.
