Hello everyone.
I'll ask this question again because there may have been confusion on my last post.
I run a bw-37 AUTOMATIC transmission.
I see 3 drain plugs under the engine bay.
1. Flathead screw which seems to be going to an aux. pan in the very front of the car.
2. torq head at the lowest point of the engine bay just below the transaxle
3. Hexhead bolt aft of the flathead. What do each of these do????
I drained the flathead screw pan and the large hexhead pan to smell what seemed to be atf. It was very dirty. This leads me to believe the hexhead is the engine drain plug.
If all is true, I see only two fluid fills in the top of the engine bay:
The trans fluid fill and the engine fluid fill.
WHERE is the other fill spot? Or do I have to take it to a garage for one of those U-type nozzles to fill the diff box? I see a screw on the side of the transaxle housing. I'm assuming this may be to check if there is enough fluid.
Can someone help me out? It's raining, I'm miserable, and I need the car to get to work tomorrow.
Thanks
