He's my brother. That was my 88 SPG in the pic at the bottom. He owns the business (Viking Saab) so yes, he does get quite a discount. ; )

I think in all it cost him maybe $500. Used parts are just fine for this. You really need an 88 or newer 900 turbo parts car to start with. They can be had pretty cheaply if you keep your eyes open. A junkyard should have everything you need.

He is running on EZK, not APC. I am not sure if anyone has tried bolting a turbo on to a 90 (LH 2.4 system)

He absolutely loves the results, and the car is a blast to drive. Feels nothing like a normal turbo Saab. The torque is fantastic; it drives like a muscle car now.
