Check your balljoints!

Hey everyone, whatsup?
Just thought I'd let you guys all know that my loved 84 900T is no more. I was driving back to college here in Rochester, NY from home in NH last weekend when my Saab gave out. I was taking a corner only about 10 miles from my house when I suddenly lost control and met a big a$$ tree! These cars are solid as a rock. I was doing 40 before I lost control, and I just walked away. My neck's a little sore, but that's no big deal compared to what could've happened. From the inside you couldn't tell anything ever happend other than the hood that is up above my line of sight, but that's supposed to happen anyways. Upon later inspection, I found that my right-front lower balljoint had seperated. Let this be a lesson to you all to make sure you don't let those balljoints go if you notice they have play in them. They're not that hard to change, and it could save you from potentially losing your life or at least your beloved Saab. I guess I'll hafta settle with actually doing homework on the weekends instead of working on my Saab. Now I'm stuck driving a 97 Ford Escort for the rest of college - which is at least reliable, but nothing like driving a Saab - oh well! At least I'll get better gas mileage. Anyways, sorry my post was so long - but I hope this will save someone's car from destruction.
