Some of you may find... as I did, that there is not enough left under the upper control arm to mount the "special tool" spacer. After a few hours of finagling here's what to do....

1) put the car on jack stands
2) take the rim off
3) put you jack under the wheel and jack it up to "load" the suspension. This is by far the easiest way to compress the spring.
4) securly attach your spring compessor to the spring.
5) lower the jack.

When the jack lowers the spring will stay compressed and should just fall out. Do your work and then just reverse your steps to get the spring back in.

I am sure some of you have done this a 1000 times but I thought I'd mention it to other's of my intermediate skill level. ;)
