I was able to get the radio playing again. I'm pretty happy now with tunes
I changed the fuel filter today and saw the neatest little trick I hadn't seen and I have changed a lot of big bosch fuel filters. Someone (or SAAB) used small rubber o-rings with the copper washers on the flange bolts. Pretty good idea to totally seal the area from leaking. Also these fuel lines do not drain nearly the amount of fuel once the filter is removed compared to the dozens of VW's and Audi's I have worked on. Yet somehow they all use the same sized fuel filters.
I have a high idle problem now. Did we say that if you pinch the large hose from the manifold to the idle stablizer and the idle falls then the idle stablizer is bad or good. This is what is happening now with my car. What happens if I move the throttle position sensor? First I need to find a wrench to get down to the nut holding it in place. Very cramped area.
