Alternator is the skill determinant...you pass!! Set aside A/C, remove all the belts, take off the A/C pulley (bolted to the crank pulley with 4 10mm bolts) and you're ready for the crank bolt. 1990 can take either a 30mm socket, but might be a 27mm. Becasue of firewall clearance you might be able to get a regular socket on with a breaker bar, but it is easier with a socket that has about 3/8" ground off. Then, have a helper lock the flywheel with a prybar or a big screwdriver from beneath at flywheel inspection hole or from above near starter drive. Pull like hell. Alternate method is to crank engine with breaker bar against frame(a bit scary, but works). then remove pulley and seal. then remove bolts holding oil pump cover. Replace oil pump o-ring seal. I'd also replace crank seal and probably pulley if significant oil has rotted pulley donut. Naw, do the pulley anyway, you don't want to hear a pulley squeal 3 months down the road. Also do lower alternator arm bushing now, if you didn't do it before. Maybe a water pump, too?
