Help! Boost Gauge Stuck...

My brother had the turbo replaced about two years ago and I acquired it
shortly thereafter. I never really paid the boost gauge much attention.
As a result, the gauge only went 1/3 of yellow. Over the last few
months and after putting 87 octane, the car requires two to three cranks
to get going when cold. But I digress, the boost gauge is now stuck on the
pre-yellow small white portion. As far as I can tell, I am getting the boost as I squealed my tires at a green light twice.
