Put on top stud and work it back and forth until it breaks. If you happen to break the stud off above the nut that's not a big problem. It will be easier to back the nut off without having to run it through the rusty threads.
Bilstein's are top of the line. I got KYB's and they're ok for handling purposes, but a little stiff for around town driving on Ohio roads.
The lower bushings are available in some parts stores in their HELP section. They're a split two piece design and they work well. This would be the cheapest way to go if your shocks are not leaking oil.
