After the new headgasket, you'll just about have a new car!!!
Check for bubbles in expansion tank that increase when you rev the engine. Any light colored stains at turbo flange junctions? If so it's headgasket time. You can run a compression test to confirm. Engine stays in car. Jeff Cunningham has good walk through at his site. Head Gasket and valve seals is $100+, and you should replace exhaust and intake manifold and turbo flange gaskets. Also you should send the head to a good shop to plane the surface and pressure test $100-$200. Labor can run +/-$500 if you don't diy.
You might also have some bad seals in the turbo, but smoke would be usually be darker.
