Hello,
I have just aquired an 83 900 8v NT. the car is in decent shape, the trans is good (thank God) but the car has a few issues I'd like to resolve before winter-
1) it won't start when cold- I tested the Values to the warmup regulator, cold start, thermo time, etc, and none of which are receiving 12v power-like they should- I'm assuming it's in the wiring harness somewhere, or it could be a bad relay, but I'd like to re-wire the cold start/warm up system completely (I only have a Haynes manual to go by) I am pretty familiar with CIS, but an not a Wiring Guru- If I jump the cold start valve, and put a switch on the dash so I can toggle fuel on and off, until it warms up, it will run, but this is no way to start my car every morning-
Any suggestions?
2) where do I find the tool to retract the ft calipers?
3) does anyone have a parts car? I need a few small things, (like the trans-shift linkage clamp- it currently has a hose clamp, and I don't trust it!)
Thanks so much for any and all responses!
