I converted from Redline to Honda MTF in my 88 5 speed about 10 months ago (with great results by the way, honda mtf is the way to go, in my opinion).. For flushing, I ran 2 batches of *non-detergent* motor oil (30W, I think, but KevinK can verify). I ran each batch for 150-200 miles, driving the car easy. Then threw in the Honda, and have had smooth shifting since..
