Hey Randy,
Yes you can build in some extra motor, which you can buy everywhere with your remote control system (VDO or what ever). They have done it with my car. I don't like this build-in-not-original-extra stuff, so I looked arround. I found the following. On later models 9000 the motor and switch on the drivers side is combined in one unit, which is exactly the same as the 900 motor or switch (only with 5 wires now). You can exchange this easily and you don't need to dril holes or that kind of things. I think you car is also prewired for the U.K. spec. So, I think you'll find in your left fender a loose connector with 2 pins and in the right fender a connector with 3 pins. If you get the door harness from the passenger door, you can connect your new motor/swtich-unit rather easily with the control-unit under the dasboard or with your new remote control unit or whatever. I think this is the best (looking), easiest way to do the job.
Good luck.
Best regards
H-J Brands
