I have a 84 Saab 900s Turbo with a buzzer that will not go off when the key is in the drive position.
After getting inside the car, closing the door and fastening the seat belt, When I turn the ignition on there are two buzzers that activate. One of which goes off after a few seconds along with the Seat Belt light, this buzzer is located under rear back seat. The other buzzer that remains active is located to the left of the driver's knee under the facia panel.
This buzzer is not the one for the doors as I can active the door buzzer by opening the door when the key is in the ignition.
I have yet to locate it exactly and am asking for help before I disassemble the entire dash to identify what and where it is. Searching through the Haynes SAAB 900 reference book has been of no help.
The power source for this buzzer comes from the Distribution Terminal +54 on the ignition lock. When I pull this wire the buzzer goes off. (However this also has the following negative effect, the windows will no longer operate, the tach will no longer operate, the emergency brake light will not go off, and the battery light comes on.)
I just bought this car with the problem described above can you help me determine what the error might be and how I can correct it.
Also do I have to take apart the entire dash to get to the buzzer?
Thank you very much for any help you can provide.

Also..
Can you tell me where the Warning counter is located for the Oxygen sensor and how to reset it for this vehicle. Could this be my problem?
thanks again.
