thanks again for your help....this is the first time for me doing this. seems age or the clamps were too tight but they broke off both of the ends where the heater hoses go into the valve allowing the hoses to slide off a bit.....coolant dripping and basically its just not safe to drive the car when the hose can come off allowing the coolant to go all over the place (namely my foot....hot coolant can't be a nice feeling).....and overheating the car.
