Yesterday I felt grinding. One front and one rear caliper froze, you can't move the wheels by hand, and on my way to the garage, it was hold for a second, then blast away.
I looked at all the existing, the front rotors were really worn down by the calipers, but the rear may have had a little life left in them, but they suggested to get rid of them since they were doing the rest.
I was told a while ago that I needed to replace the calipers at some point. They are original, and I'm at 198,000.
Unfortuntely they probably are paying premium part prices, I know the $150 is right.
As for doing it myself, I would, but I have to pick my sister up at the airport tonight and drive to Vermont.
900 was after talking them down $200, but I'll see what I can do for the rest of the total. Unfortunetely timing was everything in this situation.
If anything, I'm giving their families a nice Christmas, but thanks for all your input.
