And love it! Your car should have the hookup for the dwell meter right by the fuse bow, just can't remember which pin. (I don't have a book that covers that year) I'll ussually hook up the dwell meter power to the battery and poke the test lead in the pins till I get an oscilating reading. As I recall its the pin with a brown/white stripe wire going to it.I know it was a 2 pin conector on the end of a pair of wires in my 80, just can't remember exactly how the 85 was set up, it may have been the round five pin molded in the fuse box, or that may have been the 88. Run togeather after awhile. Remember to set your dwell meter to 4 cylinder, and adjust the mixture screw for 45-55%. Do you have a pressure test gauge yet? they are even more valuable in CIS than the meter. The fuel and control pressures will change over the years and are very simple to keep in tolerance if you have the gauge.
