TW of the site is a very helpful fellow and a former mechanic.
The cylinder is a genuine saab part that comes with original saab keys.
The only problem is that you will need to keep your door key on the chain in addition to the newly-installed non-matching ignition key.
Its not much of a bother since the dorrs open by remote and there is no need to use 2 keys all the time. It should be kept on the chain if your alarm ever goes on the fritz.
In order NOT to have any confusion, I made a copy of the door key and will put it on the chain with the replacement ignition one. This way, even in the dark , you can feel the ignition key because it will have a fatter plastic top (like what u have now) and the emergency door key will be a shiny thin all-metal duplicate.
Hope this helps.
