I've got it! If anyone wants to know how to wire up foglights to look stock, then I might be able to help (at least w/'84 900). Many thanks to lt88cvt and all the folks on this BB. The factory wires set aside for fog lights are clipped alongside the main wiring harness which runs underneath the radiator cooling fans. The two wires (one red, one black) are in their own separate rubber sleeve. They end in female bullet connectors with brownish-red protective plastic around the metal ends.
