read in the archives that you use a small screwdriver in the hole under the mirror housing to take the mirror portion out. I tried it - theres a rubber boot thing in the way and I could find no screw or fastener to undo. I'd appreciate it if anyone who's done this could lend a bit more info. BTW, I'm trying to root out the dr. side mirror no heat/defrost. Motor works fine.
Also, put in my hi-vib MSD blaster coil this weekend. Maybe its just me (or a week oem coil) but my mid rpm lag (2500-3000 1/2 gear esp. when car is cold) seems much reduced. I might be able to re-mod and put my 3bar fpr back in now...
