more fuel for CIS Posted by Kevin K [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: RRFPR, Marc, Sun, 2 Dec 2001 22:48:50 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The KE high pressure RRFPR works with an internal KE pressure actuator, so no direct use for it with simple K systems.
Best paths to more K CIS fuel:
for lambda units:
1) ground ecu terminal #11 with ~10 psi pressure switch, mabe 5-10% more fuel.
2) drop line pressure 5 psi, reset mod valve, for more gain from wot trip (spg9mike)
all cis:
1) add small air bypass to TB, with check valve. allows richer lever arm settings.
2) reduce control pressure under boost. can be done with euro warm-up regulators with boost signal input (trent?) or a Nitrous pressure solenoid valve and orifice, for controlled boost trigger. This is a parallel bleed to the warm-up regulator. (lambda must be blocked when this occures).
more radical
1) Add SDS controlled xtra injector
2) go to volvo? V6 fuel unit, and use N2O valve to kick in xtra cis injector(s) before the TB at high boost.
