Check engine fault 1-2-2-5-1

I was sitting at idle at the bank ATM tonight and as I looked up I saw that my check engine light was on and then immediately turned off. So I came home and pulled the codes.
I got 12251 which Bentley describes as "incorrect or missing signal from throttle potentiometer (LH 2.4.2 only)"
I thought OK, I'll check it out. But then I looked at the beginning of the fuel injection section which says that LH 2.4.2 was for 1991 and later non-turbo only. But I have a 1993 900TC! I assume I have LH 2.4 which my Bentley book which supposedly covers 1993 according to the cover says covers 1989-1992 Turbo (and 1988-1990 Non-turbo).
So what gives? If I am right in assuming I have LH 2.4, then I don't even have a throttle potentiometer?
Also I had code (before the above code) 12112 "O2 sensor self-compensating circuit problem (incorrect air-fuel ratio at idle)." I had this code three years and more than 50K miles ago but since Bentley does not prescribe any corrective action I ignored it. Obviously the two could be related.
The C900 OBD is SO easy to use! Now if only I can figure out what it is telling me...
TIA for your ideas/help.
Keep Saabin',
Mike, '93 900TC with 103K
