it was often faster for me to make my 2 mile commute by bike. So, the Saab stayed in the garage and my trusty Schwinn Panther got me to work. There were several months where I didn't drive to work once - even in the winter. Plus, I'd pedal home for lunch every day.
Ahh... those were the days.
