You can always contact the place that sold it to you, but I suspect you may be out of luck. New or remanufactured, parts die. Some earlier, but it does happen. Even a 'new' AMM could die after a year.
Contact some of the folks that advertise on the BB (see the bottom of the page). I know that Sobstory sells remanufactured AMMs for about $145 after core charge. The one I bought from them has been working fine for a few years now.
I suspect that if you went to a dealer and bought a 'new' AMM, it would be remanufactured. The -005 hasn't been used in a new car for a decade or so, and I can't believe that Bosch is keeping a production line going for them, or still has stock on hand. There is nothing inherently wrong with remanufactured if the job is done well.
