I no longer HAVE the black three-sided "nuts" that lock it into place. SO the only way the lights are in the right spot is if I slide the light and line it up exactly the way it used to be locked into place. Problem, of course, is that it won't STAY there...not even for a second or two. Do you think some kind of glue would hold it? Or silicone? I actually tried to stuff a bunch of things (one at a time) in to wedge the light into the correct angle/position. But none held. Plus, I was worried about some of them melting from the heat and/or starting a fire. (with MY luck.....you get the idea). The brackets are something like $80 each plus installation. It's at least a $250 job, which isn't the big problem -- I'll get that done after i come back. The problem is a temporary fix that can withstand my driving 70+ mph for 2000 miles (1000 each way). I appreciate your help. Any ideas??? You sound like you know what you're talking about.
Thanks again,
Alec 1989 900S
