Light Trans "Whirr" normal?

Here's the deal. When at a stop in neutral, if you let the clutch out you hear a very light "whirr" coming from the trans it goes away with the clutch depressed (duh). At very slow speeds in 1st you MIGHT hear it as well. It really just sounds like gear whine when going very slow.
There is no whine at speed in any of the gears.
Is this a normal 900T trait or is the carrier bearing on it's way out. Please tell me it's not. :-) I just purchased the vehicle and was careful to listen for a whine at speed for this very thing.
Thanks in advance.
