Amsoil's "Power Foam." I read a post 2-3 weeks back about this product. My car had similar idle issues, etc... For the $8 I spent- I'm overly impressed!!
I'm not an Amsoil dealer- or any dealer for that matter.. just looking to make the Saab run smooth. My 94 CE has 120K and NO vaccum leaks, the AIC is spotless and the AMM and O2 sensor are tight (timing and Knock cool too). Even so, the idle tended to drop-off more than I wanted, or could adjust out. I have new injectors (8K old)- so it could not be that- plugs are NGK 7EVs and 20K young (Magecore +). I had a new set ready to go,and then added the Power Foam. The bloody "snake oil" works- smooth as a new car.
I had some issue applying the spray- my car stalls the minute I pull a vaccum line or disconnect anything. So- I took some adivce and sprayed into a vaccum line- I switched out a 3.5 with a 6MM to make things easier. I sprayed and sprayed- difficult to use the whole can I bought (I bought two)- half can latter I was spraying directly into the manifold (eng off)- fired her up with a rough start, but made my way out to "clean her out." Smoke and more smoke ran for about 1 mile- 4K+ rpm and heavy on the gas/boost.
Again- idles like a new car- No BS. I'm happy and hoping this can help a fellow Saaber!
