Do you have a no start condition???
Get a Bentley manual and follow the fuel injection trouble shoot sequence. This will narrow down problems by elimination to the ECU. If you have a tach bounce when you try to start the car, your ignition is probably OK, and problems are likely to be injection related. Clean all your main ground connections(radiator crossmember, trans bolt, and on intake manifold. Then jump fuses 27 to 30 with engine off and if fuel pump hums, pump is OK. Still could be a problem with main or pump relays or wiring ahead of the computer or relays. Bentley will show you how to rule out these problems. The main and fuel pump relays sit right above the ECU. To get at the ECU on your 1990, you will have to drop the knee bolster, 2 bolts from under the hood at the outside of the firewall, and one bolt beneath the ashtray mounting frame and you have to remove the front console and unplug EQ for stereo. Remove door sill plate and door/body edge molding and then you can peel the kickpanel carpet down to get at the computer. Make sure you have the right ECU for your car, call Jim at Sobstory and check the part number with him. If you have the wrong one or a bad one, he has working used ones that are correct for your car. Dealers want $$$ for the new ones. ECU replacement is simple, the hardest part is dropping the knee bolster and removing the console(1 hour first time 30 min after that).
