After spending a few hours cleaning my intercooler and fixing vac hose connections, my car is trying to kill itself! When I start the engine, the idle spikes up, past 4k (turned off the ignition before it hit 5k!). I checked for anything obvious, like a disconnected hose or pipe... nothing. I've had problems in the past that seemed like harness problems, including no-starts, random 2k idling, and insanely-high revving. These problems only occur once every couple months or so; for the past year. Anyway, I just disconnected the AMM and the AIC, both have no effect. AIC resistance is perfect. The TPS clicks exactly where it should, and the throttle turns smoothly. I have a feeling I have some sort of short or something that was aggravated by me working on the engine. Or maybe a huge hole in my AIC?? Anyone have any clue where to look next?? Thanks!
