the metal strip running down the center will be broken at one end. Replace it with a fuse of the same amperage (e.g., 15A for 15A). The 900 has spares -- check positions 1,2, 3, and 23, depending on model year.
If you don't have 15A spares, don't substitute. A lower amperage such as 10A will just blow again, and a higher amperage such as 20A could burn up the wiring. Remember the fuse is there to protect the circuitry, so don't defeat it. It's good idea to keep several fuses of common sizes on hand. You'll need 10A, 15A, 20A, 25A and 30A on the 900.
If the new 15A fuse blows, then something in the wiring system is causing current flow to exceed the fuse's current-carrying capacity. Post back and one of us can walk you through finding the problem.
