Push start is your best option, so I would work out a way to get it done. Then, your best bet is to take it to an auto electric shop, but if you want to work on it yourself, you'll need a digital voltmeter. If you have the tools, start by checking the battery voltage, to make sure the battery is not the problem. With engine off, turn on headlights for 1 minute, then shut them off. Then put the voltmeter across the battery terminals. You should have at least 12.6 v on a fully charged battery. If so, make sure you have tight connections to the battery terminals and starter. Also check the ground connection for the battery negative cable. If battery is good and all connections are tight, and starter turns at all, the problem is either the starter or starter solenoid.
