After playing with my fuel pressure regulator(insert small metal rod and move off seat several times, very strong spring) and loosening and retightening what I think is the one way check valve in the return line I was able to drive car back to Kelowna from Vancouver with excellent power when my foot was in it(just about all the time). Fuel mileage came back to reasonable. But it still will not idle and is a bear around town without sticking my foot into it.Swapped FPR's with no difference. I think it is the check valve restricting the flow and giving high fuel pressure. Going to take it apart tonight. Why would they put a check valve in the reurn line anyway? To recap I drove it from Kelowna to Vancouver last Friday and got 15 mpg and no power.Got about 30mpg and all kinds of power coming back. Normally gets 35mpg and slightly less power than what it delivers now.All sensors are sensing, ignition is good, injectors look and sound good, etc.
