If C900, definitely the turbo conv, but consider a 9000 turbo. The 5-door will haul almost as much as the new wagon, it's old enough to keep you amused as a project car, less $ going in, so more $ available for upgrades, and a much more sophisticated ride than the 900. A little less of the "go-cart" feel and handling, but quieter and less tiring for long hauls. The 9000 suspension at low speed feels almost a tight as the 900, but at 75 mhp and above smooths out so you don't feel every expansion joint. I've had both, and now drive a 900cvt. If a didn't want the ragtop, I'de definitly take the 9000 over the 900, 5-door only.
