Handbrake cables can stretch after prolonged use. Make sure the handbrake is properly adjusted. See your Bentley manual for the procedure. You do have a Bentley manual, don't you?
I had a similar thing happen after replacing calipers. The handbrake did not hold at all, even when properly adjusted. It started working very well in a couple of days, though.
