The part we used was for the 5/8" wide stuff. As I recall, the OEM is about 1/2" and the replacement was a tad wider and not the same profile. It fit, and looks good, but takes some patience and a homemade wedge-type tool. The OEM trim has a wider flange portion on the bottom so it locks in the moulding track. The replacement is full width without a flange (slightly arched top that narrows to rounded side edges and flat bottom), so its a little more snug. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try the 3/8" - you could always send it back if their recommendation is incorrect.
