Most SAABs have 2 types of fans. One motor is completely enclosed. The other can be removed and on the back you will see 2 tabs that have 2 fingers pressed over them to hold on the back. Carefully move the fingers back so the tabs will come free and the back comes off. The 2 graphite pieces that touch the main rotating arm have probably been ground off. Just remove them and get 2 new ones at an auto electrical parts shop. You dont need an exact match as you can use a grinder to shape the graphite.
