On your year car the cat already has a 4 bolt connection the same as the turbo. I have the turbo system on my '90 n/a. I had to change the downpipe from the exhaust manifold in order to bolt up the system however. It fits very well.

Be prepared though....it is especially loud right around 35mph or just over 2000rpm. Once you are through that area it is not bad...sounds very nice. You don't get quite the same "burble" that turbo's have but....

One advantage is that your wife/girlfriend/fiancee will not want to drive the car any more because it is too loud...my fiancee' thinks everyone is looking at her when she drives it...I tell her it's just because the car is so pleasant to look at. Bad thing is she drives the '94T-conv. all the time now....never get any time in that car any more :o(
