1992 saab 900 S 5spd
Hey guys..
Last night while on the highway...while driving straight no problem...
But as I turn slightly to the left to follow the highway, the steering wheel feels like it wants to lock up, but if I give it a little more force so as to stay in my lane on the highway, it makes a single noticable metallic clicking sound?? I initially got scared bacause I thought that the steering wheel was trying to lock up as when you park the car and the steering wheel locks in place.

While driving today doing about 30 mph, as I was following the road to the left, the steering wheel made three quick click, click, click noises, but then went away. The clicking only happens when driving from a straight path to turning the steering wheel slightly left.

I checked my power steering fluid and it is full.

What could be causing this.
Should I have this checked out right away by a mechanic?
