is, since I have determined it is not the head gasket or water pump (new), it is not the cooling fans, they are new also. I have come to conclusion it is either a bad radiator, since it leaks coolant, or a hose somewhere that is leaking and not holding any coolant. Since I work for Saabs.com I can get my repairs done nice and cheap, at our new repair facility at alomost the cost of parts!! The pinion on the other hand whines. The owner said his mechanic (128 Saab in mass) said it could last for 1-5 years before replacing. Now I only got to drive it up to 3 gear and not much faster than 40mph, I didn't notice any whining in 1st-3rd gears. So I don't know if it whines in 4th or 5th, and it goes easily into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and into reverse. I am going to have my mechanic drive it so he can determine if it is actually the pinion. Anyways Happy Saabing!!
